Former Town Hall of Saint-Louis-du-Mile-End, 5 Laurier Street
East
This castle-like building dates from 1905. It met all the
needs of the municipality at the time: council room, fire station,
police station, town clerks office, dormitory, stables and
barn. A plaque and the balcony from which councillors addressed
the crowds remind us of its past. Todayit houses a fire station
and a small fire-fighting museum, open Sundays from 2:00 to 4:00
p.m.
