Magnifico
During the June edition of Main Madness, Ex-Centris presents a series of feature films outdoors. Magnifico is five years old but it is already a well known event, as the extension of the very popular outdoor screenings previously organized by the Montreal International Festival of new Cinema and new Media. This event has become a true rallying point by constantly making efforts to actively implicate the Boulevard’s many cultural communities : Portuguese, Eastern Europeans, etc.

Fringe Festival
The Fringe Festival is an alternative theater festival held each year. All the artists who apply are accepted, on the basis of the first come, first served policy. The philosophy behind this is that the spectactor should be the ultimate judge of a performance. Over 300 shows by 60 local and international companies are presented during the 10-day festival. This event celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2000.
